So, woof woof, as I was saying I couldn't upload photographs and I couldn't blog by email so I was woofing well worried that the end of the world was upon us or, as we like to say in my kennel, the country has gone socialist.
Grrr, woof - in four years time I will have a vote and be able to assist in securing the correct course of action for the future of this country.
In the meantime my UK pensions have gone down the toilet and I feel a tad like I've just arrived at Ellis island with nothing but a suitcase.
Many did so before me and became successful therefore I shall resist the temptation to bite the mailman and just get on with life.
I thought I would commence my renewed blogging by continuing on the theme of the last (but one) photo entry: Wee Jeannie has a new pair of shoes and here they are for you to see. BTW I am in no danger of becoming another Imelda Marcos although, come to think of it, Eddy is showing distinct signs of heading in that direction!
Oh, and no you didn't miss anything. Ted has moved on from the Evil Empire but at the same time he remains in contact with Buddy who has had a PDA for ages and Wee Jeannie who has just acquired a spiffy new phone and now appreciates the benefits of modern communication technology. i.e. email and the ability to send photographs through the ether.
On the technology front I will finish by explaining the compromise by which this blog has been resurrected:
I, being an exceptionally talented Brittany Spaniel, transferred the archive blog back to blogger.com and then created a new home page for my own domain (Toast) containing one iframe. Yes, I know, you purists abhor the concept of iframes but hey, it works.
Voila, Dr Johnson is blogging again - with photographs and can also blog by email, yip, yip and a waggy tail :-)
