Ted has been in nostalgic mood this weekend having browsed through some old photographs and surfed his way through Google and You Tube in search of memories from his past on another continent and in another century - yes, he is that old.
Anyway here is a clip from a movie which, "not a lot of people know this", is one of Ted's favorites.
Not only is it a Michael Caine vehicle but the title song is sung by Matt Monro of From Russia with Love fame and the cast is full of British stalwarts such as John Le Mesurier, Irene Handl, Benny Hill, and the late and great Noel Coward.
A fantastic cinematic treat "dear boy" if a bit 60's
