Ted and Mrs Ted, and to a lesser degree the junior Teds, have been wiring the house with Cat 5 cable so they can attach a ROKU box to their entertainment system amongst other things. I offered to help and was halfway up the ladder to assist with the wiring but Ted thought I would be better placed on the ground controlling the greater excesses of the junior Teds. They were getting kinda excited and kept climbing into the attic to "help" their dad. He, however, did not appreciate the added worry of watching what they were doing whilst attempting not to put his feet through the ceiling and possibly fall to ground through said ceiling. Mrs Ted would not have been amused. So I stayed off the ladder and played with the kids until Ted returned to ground level and all the cable was run through the walls. Now it's up to Mrs Ted to punch down all the terminals and get the system working. She promised to queue up some episodes of "All Creatures Great and Small" for me to watch and I'm very much looking forward to that treat - woof, woof.
