I have been drafted in to be "spotter" when the kids are doing their target shooting. It's a lot safer if I just bark out the score rather than letting them run down to the target in excited haste. You never know what might happen if they get on the wrong side of the barrel.Did I tell y'all that Little Ted and Eddy have taken up shooting, embracing the Texas lifestyle with gusto, although for now it's as well we have HEB to put meat on the table!
Little Ted does have a very detailed plan of how he is going to shoot, kill, and butcher his first deer. Where he got all the detail from is anyones guess; not from Ted that's for sure. Mrs Ted may also wish to consider a chest freezer in the not too distant future as her hunting, shooting, fishing son starts to bring home the "bacon". Do you think he might need a good bird dog to help him?
