We were invited to the Country Club for brunch after church. However my children behaved so badly during the service that their grandmother withdrew the invitation. I had already determined to send Mrs Ted for brunch with her mother while I dealt with the brats so we were all singing from the same hymn sheet, pardon the pun.
So off I went to buy my lunch at Whataburger, the kids can starve for a bit until I finish eating at least, and all the way my little princess has been repeating the mantra "I deserve to eat at the country club". Little Ted has simply been whining constantly. Right now they are in their rooms and I'll make their lunch shortly.
They may actually have got the message this time about suitable behavior in church!

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear - the entitlement generation writ large! I hope they got the message!
Oh dear, oh dear. Some days are like that. Hope you enjoyed your Whataburger, hope you fed the brats oatmeal...
