Friday morning

A cold front blew in last night and folks around here are wearing jackets. Ted, needless to say, is still in short sleeves - well the "cold" temperature is 70F which is the height of a Scottish summer!
Anyway it's very pleasant so Ted and Mrs Ted dropped the kids off at school and went to breakfast together.
Mind you they both sat there glued to their BBs, exchanging the occasional remark on the state of the world (courtesy of BB news feeds).
I think they are what you call Crackberries - woof, woof!

Happiness abounds

Woof, woof, I was talking to Ted's friend Wee Jeanie, from his Evil Empire days, today and I am pleased to report that she is very happy in her new job.
Like Ted she now gets to meet interesting people and do interesting stuff all without having some demonic corporate sales effort clouding and souring her view of life.
Also, like Ted, she has joined the office football league although, unlike Ted, she is making a habit of winning hers!
There is life outside of and after the EE and it is good - woof, woof!

Saturday Soccer

There's a few more on each team this week and the Strikers are getting thrashed. Everyone is having a good time but they all lack that killer instinct. They are all so polite instead of grabbing the ball and running with it at every opportunity. Oh well, fun is fun.
