Country Club brunch

We were invited to the Country Club for brunch after church. However my children behaved so badly during the service that their grandmother withdrew the invitation. I had already determined to send Mrs Ted for brunch with her mother while I dealt with the brats so we were all singing from the same hymn sheet, pardon the pun.
So off I went to buy my lunch at Whataburger, the kids can starve for a bit until I finish eating at least, and all the way my little princess has been repeating the mantra "I deserve to eat at the country club". Little Ted has simply been whining constantly. Right now they are in their rooms and I'll make their lunch shortly.
They may actually have got the message this time about suitable behavior in church!

Convertible

Both my children had their heads turned this morning by a flashy car. As soon as they saw the roof going down they wanted a ride in that car.

Saturday breakfast

There's a new place in town (Rockport), Mainstreet Coffee, Deli, Art.
Not fully open yet, they are just practicing today, so everything is free today.
Seems like it will be a good place to eat even when you need to pay for it :-)

Lunchtime

Little Ted wanted Whataburger for lunch. We had Whataburger for breakfast but since he accepted the bypassing of the Aquarium gift shop with reasonable grace I thought he should have his choice of lunch venue. He also reached another watershed in his life in that he politely declined a kids meal with crap plastic toy in favor of sharing one chicken meal with his dad!
